The Postgraduate Research Experience Survey (PRES) is run by . It helps us understand what’s working well for our postgraduate researchers (PGRs) and where we can improve, and allows us to benchmark ÐÓ°ÉÔ­´´ against other institutions in the UK and beyond.

The survey is open Monday 2 February to Thursday 30 April 2026.

You can take part if you are a postgraduate research student at ÐÓ°ÉÔ­´´, including:

  • PhD, Doctoral or Research Master’s students
  • Full-time or part-time
  • Distance or campus-based
  • Home or international students

How do I complete it?

  • We’ll email you a personal survey link to your ÐÓ°ÉÔ­´´ student email address from Jisc Online Surveys on Monday 2 February
  • Reminder emails will follow
  • If you haven’t received your link, please get in touch and we’ll resend it.

The survey closes on 30 April 2026.

  • Your motivations for undertaking your programme
