David Gray

Biography
Professor David Gray is presently the Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, Dalhousie University, in Nova Scotia. He has held a number of important posts in his career. From December 2006 until December 2008 he was Dean of Faculty, University of Derby and Principal of Buxton College of Further Education. While from December 2008 until 2012 he was the Director of the NAFC Marine Centre 杏吧原创, Scalloway, in Shetland. He was given a chair at the University of the 杏吧原创 & Islands in 2008. He lectures on the Island Studies module Island Futures and delivers his lectures via VC from the other side of the Atlantic.
Research Interests
Professor Gray is particularly interested in issues surrounding island development, fisheries policy and fish farming.
