Dr David Worthington - evening lecture in Edinburgh Central Library
Celebrating Polish-Scottish historical connections, there will be an evening lecture by Dr David Worthington in Edinburgh Central Library on 23 January.
In a special event in Edinburgh next week the Centre for History鈥檚 Dr David Worthington will be speaking on the historical Scottish community in Poland and the activities of Robert Porteous/Portius who imported Hungarian Tokaji wine to Poland four centuries ago. The evening will also showcase a small exhibition about the Scottish-born businessman.
