Scottish Innovative Student Award (SISA)

The graduate attributes align closely with the eligibility criteria for  from Scottish Institute of Enterprise (SIE). The university now has 6 modules accredited under these criteria, and has ran various Level 1 ‘Qualifier’ Workshops, across a wide range of subject areas.

The modules accredited (course in brackets) are tertiary, and include:

  • Managing and Leadership in Creative Industries (BA Hons Music Business)
  • Policy into Practice (MA Health & Wellbeing)
  • Displaying the Past: Museum Studies (BA Hons Culture and Heritage)
  • Sustainable Creative Endeavour in Contemporary Society (MA Music and the Environment)
  • Event Organisation (NC Business)
  • Enterprise Activity (NC Business)
  • Personal Enterprise Skills (HNC Business)
  • Work Placement: Team Working & Communication (multi-disciplinary, SCQF Level 8)
  • Work Placement: Industry-Specific Skills (multi-disciplinary, SCQF Level 9)

Hermoine Morris

In June 2020, Hermione Morris was recognised as ÐÓ°ÉÔ­´´â€™s first Level 3 SISA Innovation Champion at an virtual Awards Ceremony hosted by SIE.

Hermione was one of  to achieve the title, and we hope will be the first of many ÐÓ°ÉÔ­´´ students to go on to complete Levels 1, 2, and 3 of the award!

During the first year of working with SIE and in addition to Hermione’s success at Level 3, ÐÓ°ÉÔ­´´ had 23 students achieve Level 1 certificates through completion of accredited modules or future thinking workshops.
